By old it means older than that, i.e. last version 1.5 or 1.4.

It's probably the BONOBO_ACTIVATION_PATH (when bonobo-activation-server is run, not from your current shell) not including /usr/local/lib/bonobo/servers in it.

e.g. running this command should produce these results:

notzed lostzed:~> bonobo-activation-run-query "repo_ids.has ('IDL:GNOME/Evolution/Component:2.0')"
number of results: 4
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_Component:2.0
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Component:2.0
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Tasks_Component:2.0
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_Component:2.0

If it says 0 results, then the path isn't right and it wont work.

(there's some other command to add to the servers path but i don't remember it, i just use the env variable).
