Well, this is fixed for months now. I don't recall if it should be in
1.4.5 (apparently not, as this is the version you are using), but it
definitely is in current 1.4.6 version.

I do know, cause I wrote the patch that went into Evolution. ;-)

If anyone else cannot upgrade or does not want to, you can apply (as
root) the patch mentioned in the above issue.
