[Evolution] libtool error while doing a make install...

when I did a make - install, I got the following error..

libtool: install: error: cannot install `libevolution-calendar-a11y.la'
to a directory not ending in /usr/local/lib/evolution/1.5
make[3]: *** [install-privlibLTLIBRARIES] Error 1

I was trying to compile evolution with openLDAP support when this
happened. Any solution?
