[Evolution] calendar task repetition

I need to enter a task that repeats. Say every Friday there is a need
for me to back up all my data. This task needs to stay alive until the
back up is done and the task is then deleted.

Is there any way to achieve this in Evolution? It seems a very ordinary
requirement. But as far as I can see there is no way of programming
repeats of tasks.

Doesn't there need to be the same recurrence choice for a task as for an
appointment? Or am I alone in working this way?
