Yes, but if you look below, there are various bits of text I have added to the email you sent me and it has inserted the text into the email I've replied to so that it looks like it's part of the original email, not text I've added.  In some places it behaves properly, but those are the places where tables aren't involved.

I sort of expect the behaviour if it is HTML email, but it happens even if you compose the mail as plain text because the underlying editor retains the HTML formatting even when editing text.
