[Evolution] Evolution palm sync via network?

I have seen this option under the pilot settings - devices tab and was
wondering if anyone has tried it?  If so does it setup the machine that
is running gpilotd as the sync host or allow you to sync to another
machine on the network?

With all of the wireless options for palm devices I could see this being
a real benefit, being able to sync via the net to you linux desktop.
