Re: [Evolution] configuration lost in evolution 2.03

I installed evolution 2.03 on a clean Mdk 10.1.
But it won't keep my settings. Evetytime i reboot the computer, the settings
are lost (emails accounts, mail, contacts, calendar) and i get the setup
wizard.
My $HOME/evolution is ok but it's like evolution won't read it.

The data is in ~/.evolution since 2.0.0 and your configuration is stored
using GConf (~/.gconf/apps/evolution).

Which Evolution version did you use before?

If the settings don't survive a reboot, it sounds like some GConf issues
maybe. Are your settings written to disk at all? Is GConf running and
sane? Do you have the proper rights to write the GConf settings and do
you own the (new) Evolution data dir?

As you are running a "clean" Mandrake 10.1 system... What do you mean by
clean exactly? How did you got your old ~/evolution dir to a *clean*
$HOME? Is the new UID the same as you used before? Which files did you
back up beside the (old) ~/evolution dir?

I tried uninstalling then installing another RPM, it's all the same.
Did somebody else experience this problem ?

Uninstalling what? Which *other* RPM? FWIW, re-installing usually
doesn't solve issues on Linux systems... As Evolution is running and
your /user/ settings are not sticking, this doesn't seem to be related
to the Evolution RPM at all.
