I don't have Gnome installed on my computer (gasp) and I'm using 1.5.5.
My problem: when I click on a link in an email, it opens in firefox, not
in opera. I have set $BROWSER=/usr/bin/opera, but to no avail. Where
does Evo gather its information?
All I was able to find was that some say the $BROWSER variable should
work, and that I could edit (create, in my case) the file ~/.gnome/Gnome
and put the following (for my own setup) therein:
[URL Handlers]
default-show=opera --newpage %s
Neither method worked.
Searching the archives is not a pretty affair, and perhaps more/better
documentation is in order. Could anyone help out?
