[Evolution] Dragging attachments to/from desktop...

Is there a way to change the behavior of drag and drop between the Gnome
2.x desktop and Evoltion?  The URL that appears when one tries to drag
an file into an email (attaching from Nautilus or the Gnome Desktop),
instead of an attachment icon is particularly lacking the normal
coolness I associate with Evolution features.  Slightly less annoying 
is the inability to drag attachments from the preview or message view
window to the desktop or nautilus.

Just curious if these are features or a default configurations.
