If you use the Maildir format (aka, one file per message), then you
could use something to the effect of:
% find /your/mail/folder/path -mtime +1 -exec rm {} \;
I'd check the above command throughly, might be a -mtime -1 that you
need... (not sure, i always get confused between the two, all
explanation should be in the man page though).
Cron the command and you'll have what you want...
