[Evolution] mail component fails to load (undefined symbol: evolution_folder_info_factory_init)

For weeks i have been trying to run evolution cvs, but 
i always end up with the following error:

Cannot activate component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent :
The error from the activation system is:
g_module_open of
`/usr/local/lib/evolution/1.3/components/libevolution-mail.so' failed
with `/usr/local/lib/evolution/1.3/components/libevolution-mail.so:
undefined symbol: evolution_folder_info_factory_init'

Cannot activate component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_ShellComponent :
The error from the activation system is: g_module_open of 
`/usr/local/lib/evolution/1.3/components/libevolution-addressbook.so'
failed with 
`/usr/local/lib/evolution/1.3/components/libevolution-addressbook.so:
undefined symbol: gtk_tree_selection_set_select_func'

Today i removed all *Evolution*.server files in /usr/local/lib/bonobo/servers
did a fresh checkout and build as in the bugs comment,
but i still get the same error.

My system is a very degenerated homebrew linux amd k6 machine,
but all other gnome desktop components seem to run ok.

Does anybody have an idea where to look for clues
to solve this problem or create a better bug entry?
