uh, sorry for quoting myself...
In a previous version of Evo I had a filter that assigned a particular
colour to certain messages.
I have removed that filter some time ago and would like to assign a
label to those messages instead but I can't find a way to reset the
colour of those messages.
Is there a way to do this?
Nope, not to my knowledge.
I was stumbling across that myself a couple of weeks ago. It is a known
issue and will be rewritten.
You can manually assign the color black to those messages to make them
appear like all the others.
Additional information:
As assigned color is only stored on client side, I could remove all
assigned color with
% rm -Rf ~/evolution/mail/imap/guenther my imap server/
Attention: That works for IMAP accounts. I dont't know, in which files
of an POP3 account that info is stored. I assume one of the additional
non mbox files. But really be sure not to remove your mbox files!
Maybe that helps -- at least it really gets rid of that color, instead
of overwriting it with black.
