I'm running RedHat9 at work with Evolution, which I really like except
for the small problem that every now and again (4-5 times in the last
three months), I come back from the weekend and I have duplicate copies
of ever single piece of mail I ever received. This is starting to add up
to hundreds of megs of emails that I have to delete. I leave mail on the
server normally and would prefer to continue to do so. Is this a known
issue? Its like Evolution hickups and I get to spend the next twenty
minutes clicking delete and expunge.
I have posted a script to eliminate duplicate messages (identified by
Message-Id) from your mail folders recently.
If you like, I will post it again...
