It is generally not a good idea, to mix stable Mandrake with cooker
RPMs. I've managed it for some apps. You should be prepared for
problems, though.


As you only seem to want the latest and greates Evolution, there is no
need to try Cooker. Ximian released Evo 1.4 for Mandrake:
 ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/ximian-evolution/mandrake-91-i586

You can even go the easy way of installing using Red-Carpet:
 http://ximian.com/products/redcarpet/

Follow those instructions or install it manually. You will need at least
the packages red-carpet-2.0.1 and rcd-1.4.2 from
 ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/redcarpet/mandrake-91-i586
