Re: [Evolution] can't print since upgrade

So since I can't use CUPS, I won't be able to print from evolution, yes?

(The techies won't support CUPS, and I couldn't get it to CUPS to
connect to my networked Unix printer myself.)

as seen earlier on this list, you need to setup a cups printer. gnome 2
(or xd2?) printing is different from gnome 1 stuff.

I have the latest version of evolution 1.4, using redhat 9 and KDE as my

When I try to print a page from evolution, I am asked if I want to
create a PDF or PS file, but I can no longer print to my (local) desktop
printer!

Printing works fine from other KDE/Gnome/misc applications.
gnome-print-manager can see my local printer and its settings (I have to
use LPD to connect to a second networked printer, so I am not using
CUPS; I couldn't get CUPS to work with the networked printer).

Any clues as to what to do?
