Not able to get it to work, I started using evolution-launch-composer.
I was able to get it to attach text files, but images were broken. In
fact, looking at the email source, everything looked fine, except that
the image was this:
/9j/4RpoRXhpZgAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
obviously it didn't get encoded right. This is what I tried:
The file could just have lots of zero bytes...
No. If I open a composer window and attach (ie without
evolution-launch-composer) and send it to myself, the image not only
displays right in evolution, but it also likes different in the email
source.
evolution-launch-composer -t image/jpeg -a file.jpg
Or maybe you need to specify the full pathname
Tried that-- no go. Evolution has an attachment with the proper
filename in the composer window, but it is a big square with an X in it,
rather than a thumbnail.
