[Evolution] Save to draft truncates "----"

Searched the bug database, but could not find anything addressing this.
Using Evo 1.2.4.
I "Save Draft" on an e-mail containing a line of of dashes, e.g.

- when the message is recalled, the number of dashes in lines like this
are reduced to two.
Why?
