Evolution can be installed using Fink and using X. Evolution is listed
as 'unstable'. I have tried using it in the past but it was... well...
unstable.

Evolution is also available if you install Linux on your PPC hardware.
Yellow Dog Linux comes with Evolution.

Hello,
I am interested in getting Evolution to run on Mac OSX. I understand
that this is not a supported platform, but I understand that it can be
made to work.
I am unix/linux newbie so I have almost no idea of what I am getting my
self into, but I want to learn and this seems like a worth while
project to cut my teeth on.
I understand I need to have an X server and the GNU developer's
toolchain installed. I just downloaded Apple's new X server. I have
no idea what the GNU developer's toolchain is or where I can get it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
And if I am being an idiot for even trying this, please feel free to
tell me so.
Thanks
Todd
