cheers( again );
Dammit, seem I can't concentrate any more... had learned too much for
exams.
I am trying to use Evolution to access a number of pop accounts that I also
access from other systems and mail readers. So, I do not let Evolution
delete the messages after they are downloaded from the server. I have
directed Eudora to delete them after 7 days.
The problem is that Evolution keeps downloading messages that it has
already seen. This is not the case for Eudora, Kmail, or outlook. Is there
a setting that I am missing?
Try to unset and set 'leave messages on server' at
Tools / Settings / Mail Accounts / <account> Edit / Receiving Options
Maybe that helps. It turned out to be not properly updated for others.
I don't think that will help, but maybe...
Be careful not to load messages when not checked, as that will delete
the mails on the server...
@ximian: As we have seen that problem the last week several times: Maybe
a new bug?? :-/
(Hope there are developers following close enough, to find that note...)
OK, even louder: That problem comes up regularly the last days! Is there
any solution found yet? Bug filed?
I will have a rest now...
