Is there a way to get the emacs keybindings in 1.4.4 working? I found
this bug
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=41187
which seems to indicate that they've been broken in 1.4x for quite a
while and that they still are.
But I'm hoping that someone can tell me otherwise. If they are still
broken, is there a workaround that can get me back to the keybindings I
had before I upgraded from 1.2.4? As a last resort, has anyone come up
with a set of instructions for uninstalling 1.4.4?
Attached to this bug is a XML file to substitute the existing one:
/usr/share/gtkhtml-3.0/GNOME_GtkHTML_Editor.xml
Seems, you have to enable the Emacs keybindings in the Gnome Control
Center too -- or just use the given gconftool-2 command given in the
comments to this bug.
