I'm seeing quite a lot of chatter in the terminal from which I launch
evolution 1.4.4. Here are some samples:
(evolution:926): widgets-WARNING **: Could not open converter for
'X-UNKNOWN' to 'UTF-8' charset
(evolution:4476): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: value "-1.000000" of type `gdouble' is invalid for property
`clip-height' of type `gdouble'
(evolution:4476): gtkhtml-WARNING **: Cannot create spell dictionary instance
(iid:OAFIID:GNOME_Spell_Dictionary:0.3)
(evolution:4476): Bonobo-WARNING **: Activation exception 'Failed to activate
'OAFIID:GNOME_Spell_Control:0.3''
[the next few make some sense: I tried to open my contacts without having a default set]
(evolution:4476): EBook-WARNING **: e_book_load_uri: Unable to determine protocol in the URI
(evolution:4476): EBook-WARNING **: e_book_unload_uri: No URI is loaded!
(evolution:4476): EBook-WARNING **: e_book_get_book_view: No URI loaded!
(evolution:3974): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2010: instance
`0x88ba3c0' has no handler with id `136264576'
(evolution:3974): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2010: instance
`0x86ee150' has no handler with id `136264576'
(evolution:3974): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer
instance
(evolution:3974): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gsignal.c: line 1998
(g_signal_handler_disconnect): assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE
(instance)' failed
Should I just ignore these, or should I file bugs? The frequency of
them does seem to be going down.
