Folks,
I tried /usr/dist/exe/evolution, and it would silently die after
the splash screen. So I set a couple of environment variables and
ran it from /usr/dist/pkgs/evolution,v1.2.3/bin and now I see the
error message below, after it fails in apparently the same way:
./evolution
Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
serial 433 error_code 10 request_code 131 minor_code 1
Gdk-ERROR **: BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter)
serial 434 error_code 131 request_code 131 minor_code 5
I tried removing all shared memory segments before attempting again
to start it. Same thing. After that try, IPCS shows this:
homer$ ipcs
IPC status from <running system> as of Fri Apr 11 11:43:27 PDT 2003
T ID KEY MODE OWNER GROUP
Message Queues:
q 0 0x2e781d5 --rw-r--r-- root root
q 2 0x18f1 -Rrw-r--r-- root root
Shared Memory:
m 1200 0 --rw-rw-rw- wtph staff
m 4801 0 --rw-rw-rw- wtph staff
Semaphores:
homer$
Any idea? I'm running on
homer[root]$ uname -a
SunOS homer 5.8 Generic_108528-14 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-100
--Terry.
