[Evolution] problems with evolution/imap server

When I first installed evolution, it worked great, and I loved it. 
Lately, though, it will not connect to one of the two IMAP accounts I
check regularly.  I get an error message, something like "A00002 BAD
Missing or invalid argument to LSUB".  On my windows laptop, Outlook
express checks the same server, using IMAP, just fine.  When this first
started happening, I was on v1.0.8.  I updated to 1.2, then 1.2.3, and
the problem persists.  Also, on the other IMAP account, it works, but it
won't remember the password no matter how many times I've checked
remember this password. 

Any ideas?
