Looks a bit complicated - for that I had to install pppd and run a
couple of stuff manually for each sync. Moreover, I could not even find
out what port to use (ttyUSBx).

Where does /dev/cradle link to on your system?

SuSE 8.0 at this time.

Tnx for your fast answer! Maybe if I know where /dev/cradle should be
linked to it will work here as well...
