[Evolution] Evolution hangs on exit

Hi,

evolution hangs on exit if i'm connected to an imap server and the
network connection to the server is down or the imap server isn't
reachable.

You can reproduce the error by starting evolution, connect it with an
imap server, then hanging up the ppp connection or deactivating the
ethernet interface with "route" and quitting evolution. The popup
"Evolution is now exiting..." will never disappear and you'll have to
kill
"evolution-mail" or start "killev".

I've found the problem in evolution 1.0.8, 1.1.90 and i think that every
version of evolution has this problem.

Is there a way to set a timeout or something like that?
