Currently if you go offline, INBOX will copy all unread mails to local
storage so you can read them offline.
With the 1.1.x (1.2) code you can do this for any mailbox (selected
individually).
Dunno about ldap.

They are more or less available now (I can see soe of my inbox mails,
but not all).
What I miss an LDAP address book which would work offline. Manually
resyncing contacts on different computers is a royal pain.
