Re: [Evolution] Problem w/ Evolution under KDE

Umm, the first few errors I get too, they're meaningless.

Maybe its an OAF_INFO_PATH or GNOME_PATH issue, if evolution and gnome
aren't installed in the same location (if not from packages?).

Hi All,

I'm having a degree of difficulty when trying to run Evolution under KDE

This is what I get in the console window that I start Evolution from:

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to `BonoboObject'

Bonobo-CRITICAL **: file bonobo-object.c: line 1040

evolution-shell-WARNING **: CORBA exception

gtkhtml-ERROR **: gconf error: Failed to launch configuration server:

I'm no genius, but I smell a bad gconf configuration or something. Can
anyone lead me in the right direction on this one? I'm having trouble
(also) w/ Galeon, and that's pointing me towards GTK/gconf errors. Any
iideas?
