[Evolution] Command-line Switches

Here's a quick question:
How do I force Evo to POP at startup? I've configured the mailcheck
applet for notification and launch, but I have to either manually
SEND/RECV or wait a for the poll.
Alternatively, are there any plans to "applet-ize" Evo with notification
features (including Alarms)?
