[Evolution] evolution take long time to read mail

hi all,
recently, my evolution got some problem or not problem. that is it took veeeeeeeeeeeery long time to read certain mail.
mine is mandrake 8.2 running ximiam gnome 1.4 evolution 1.0.7.
the mail is writen in chinese characters, from hotmail, and very long, replied many times.
i found that it takes more time to read a mail if the mail is larger, but usually if finish within less than one second, but for some mail it takes a few minutes, and switching task or switching desk responses very slowly often a few minutes delay, my cursor move slowly, it seems the evolution take all the resources.
anyone have the idea?
