you're using an ancient version of evolution.
evolution is now at 1.0.1, maybe even higher
if you dont want to upgrade, you can set EVOLVE_ME_HARDER=1, and you
shouldnt get the welcome window anymore.  as for the password, you'll
probably need to upgrade
