A. This usually happens when CORBA interfaces used between components
are not compatible. For example, this could happen if you recompile and
install a single Evolution component without recompiling and installing
the rest of the Evolution components.


Is there a way to check for this at runtime? Is there any kind of Corba
signature that can be used to detect that the client and server are
mismatched? Does the IDL have some kind of serial number that can be
used for this?
