[Evolution] Trouble importing older files on 1.0.5

Hi List!

I used Evolution 1.0.3 so far under a SuSE 8.0 and former on a 7.3
system. Since a week or so I am using Debain Woody with Evo ver 1.0.5.
When I tried to import my older mailboxes from ver 1.0.3 it just did not
work. I was told that "there is no importer able to handle file
$path/mbox". 

The other option for import, "import data and settings from older
programs" does not work also. It seems to search for something but does
not allow me to supply any path or something.

What can I do? Did anyone experience something comparable or does have
advice for me?
