[Evolution] sync troubles again...

I am STILL having troubles syncing my address book with Evo. Up to the
latest release (RC) I simply go nothing. no matter what I chose (Copy
from Pilot, Sync, etc.) nothing showed up in my COntacts. Now, however,
whenever I try to change the settings on the EAddress conduit, I get
"Unable to instatiate EAddress Conduit"

I have tried un-installing (via red-carpet) Evolution, Pilot-link, etc.
and re-installing, but to no avail...

Any suggestions? This is the LAST remaining problem I have with
Evolution before I make it my be-all and end-all aplication :-) (well,
spelling would be nice, but ... )
