[Evolution] POP configuration question

Yes, of course I read the disclaimer that appears when evo starts up.

In spite of that, I have a question:
With a POP account, is it possible to "leave messages on server" but
delete messages from the server when they are deleted from evo?

I like to access my pop mailbox from several different computers, and I
want to be able to get to the "keepers" while weeding out the
"throw-aways"

Any suggestions?
