[Evolution] More problems trying out Evolution

Hi all,

Thanks for the advice about installing bonobo-devel. That helped!
I'm still trying to build 0.9, but configure now fails at:

Unknown library `gtkhtml'
Unknown library `gtkhtml'
checking for GtkHTML... configure: error: GtkHTML 0.8 or later is required
to compile Evolution

[dpip100 localhost ~/evolution-0.9]$ rpm -qa | grep gtkhtml
gtkhtml-0.8.3-100_helix_200103160900

... and I can't find a matching gtkhtml-devel. Ideally I'd like to do as
much as possible by installing RPMs (as far as upgrading libraries goes)
-- will I be able to do this? Feel free to tell me that if this is the
case I am not the target audience for 0.9!

On a related note, I'm using Red Carpet. Does anyone know whether 0.9 will
appear in Red Carpet? I have looked at the Evolution snapshot channel (and
got some libraries from there to allow configure to get as far as it did).
However, it always seems just to have lots of libraries and supporting
packages, but never a package for Evolution itself. Is this supposed to be
the case? I wouldn't mind trying a snapshot package as presumably it would
be relatively easy to remove or upgrade. Also, are there any RPMs of 0.9
anywhere?

Many thanks,

Douglas
