Abandonware?  Still, it does all the calendaring stuff that exchange does...

One could avoid it altogether by implementing a separate LDAP server and a
Calendar server on their Mail host..

Boo, hiss...  Use HP OpenMail servers instead for Exchange
functionality....

First off, it's much more stable, second, it runs on Unix platforms, and
third, if you have fewer than 50 clients, you can get the RedHat version
free of licensing fees...

Fourth, HP has just recently discontinued development of it ...

It may become open source, and thus picked up. Or it may not.
