Re: [Evolution] Put Evo data on removable drive?

What you need to do is make a symlink from ~/evolution to the location
on your scsi drive.

Even still I'm not sure it'll work as Win32 mailers will want to see
CRLF end-of-line sequences while Unix uses just LF

I have a removable SCSI drive that I carry between home and work daily.
It's FAT32 (for compatibility betw Linux and Win2K).

Is possible to move the Evo files onto this drive so that I can have the
same mail base at home and at work?

Evolution can store messages in either mbox format, MH format, or
MailDir format. Depending on which format your Windows mailer can handle
(most can do mbox, which is the default type), I guess it would work.
You just have to point to the direct location of the mbox file itself,
which is usually $HOME/evolution/local/Inbox/mbox.
