[Evolution] wrapping words in simple text mails

I know the answer to this question is probably 
either very 
simple, or not yet implemented.  Can anyone 
tell me
how to get the mail editor to wrap words in 
simple text 
messages to 65 or 72 characters *before the 
mail is sent* 
so I can send text messages to my friends 
that don't 
look like this one?

I have been using Evolution for about a year
now and REALLY love it except for this 
single annoyance.
