Hello.
How do you make Evolution's pilot synchronization control applets show
up in
the Gnome Control Pilot Synch. setup? I've installed Mandrake Cooker
7.3, but
used Ximian's site to install the base Gnome and Evolution.
Maybe it's not necessary to go through the Gnome Control Center to
synchronize Evolution with my Palm. Is there some other way?
If you are compiling from source, then check the README for the
instructions on getting the pilot syncing to work. If you mean the
dailies, we should be shipping them with pilot support shortly.

Thanks for your reply. I downloaded and untarred the evolution 0.8 source,
but I've run into another problem. It fails in the configure step, with the
error shown below:
checking for gnome_window_icon_set_default_from_file in -lgnomeui... no
configure: error: gnome-libs 1.0.59 or higher is required.
Well, I have gnome-libs version 1.2.11, which would seem to be higher than
1.0.59. Here's the output of rpm -q gnome-libs:
gnome-libs-1.2.11-0mdk_helix_1
and of gnome-config --version
gnome-libs 1.2.11
Any recommendations?
By the way, the README refers to running the "autogen.sh" command in the evo
source directory, but I can't find any such shell script. Was this supposed
to be configure?
Thanks.
Tony
