Something even weirder.... I cannot get mailto:"%t" or mailto:"%s" or
"mailto:%t" or "mailto:%s" on my system, using Ximian Gnome and
Evolution 1.0.0.99 +cvs.2001.12.13.08.57
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks, Alec

That's weird, because I got it to work with evolution "mailto:%t"

I have the same results as you, namely:
evolution "mailto:%s" does not work
but
evolution mailto:"%t" does work.
Thanks.

Hi Neil,
My solution is: KDE control center -> Network -> EMail -> Preferred
Email Client:
evolution mailto:"%t"
This makes Konqueror etc. open an Evolution window with the respective
adress in the 'to:' section, I think that's what you were looking for.
KDE 2.2.1 SuSE 7.3 Kernel 2.4.16
Ben's suggestion evolution "mailto:%s" was not working on my box (though
I tried it with %t instead of %s, and I am not sure about the difference
between %s and %t).
Note that I am using a different quotation; only the "%t" is quoted and
the 'mailto' isn't.
Good luck,
Wolfi
