[Evolution] Remember POP Password ?

Does anyone know of a fix for the problem that the
final release of Evolution does not remember the pop
password ?
This is very annoying and some of my fellow employees will not
switch to Evolution from other mail readers, because of this
bug. (I know, the "resistance to change factor" is high)
