[Evolution] Checking mail from the command line

I would like to be able to tell a running instance of Evolution to check
for mail from the command line. For example when Fetchmail finishes
polling, or if I want to use the Mail Check applet. Is there a way to do
this by just calling something like 'evolution -check <account>
<account>...'?
