Hopefully when everyone gets back from Linux World, the snapshots will

Since the release is getting closer, after each snapshot, how about
posting a note to the mailing list stating what has been "fixed". That
way, we can check those items more vigorously?

This is the kind of thing that bugzilla is all about. For instance, this
query:

http://bugzilla.ximian.com/buglist.cgi?product=Evolution&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=CLOSED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&changedin=1&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=substring&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&op_sys_details=&op_sys_details_type=substring&version_details=&version_details_type=substring&cmdtype=doit&namedcmd=1.0+Potential+Bugs&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&form_name=query

will show you all the bugs marked as RESOLVED in the last 24 hours. But
that has a lot of duplicates, so maybe you want to use this query:

http://bugzilla.ximian.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=RESOLVED&resolution=FIXED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&changedin=1&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=substring&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&op_sys_details=&op_sys_details_type=substring&version_details=&version_details_type=substring&cmdtype=doit&namedcmd=1.0+Potential+Bugs&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&form_name=query

which will show all the bugs marked as FIXED in the previous day.

Although this will produce the fixed bugs for a release it would get
more people involved if someone on the development team wrote up a short
summary of some of the more important issues that were fixed and need
testing. Most people won't make the effort to query for the raw info but
would be more inclined to get involved with a little more personal
touch.
