[Evolution] Calendar

howdy,
i can't seem to get any calendar events to 'alarm' at all. is there a user
manual somewhere (i can't seem to find it) that i can reference? will the
alarms work if evolution is not running? and how can i set the email address
i want an alarm to be sent to?
