[Evolution] LDAP?

 Hi,

 How do I get LDAP to work on my system. I have stock RedHat 6.2 + 
updates + helixcode gnome + ldap installed. But when I ./configure it 
says no ldap support. 

 Why?

 Do I need to run an ldap server?
