  Uhm, got it.  You did not use `--sysconfdir=/etc' when configuring,
so the `.gnorba' files went into

      /usr/etc/CORBA/servers

instead of

      /etc/CORBA/servers


You can use `export GNOME_PATH=/usr'

To fix your problem.
