[Evolution] desperately seeking evolution (still trying to compile)

Ok, I set my ACLOCAL_FLAGS="-I /usr/share/aclocal" and I moved the libtool.m4 there by hand after compiling 
and

installing libtool.

Now, when I try to compile ORBit, I get these errors: see attached orberr file...

And when trying to compile bonobo, I get these errors: see bonoerr file...

Basically, I'm getting a million duplicated macro errors.

I really want to get the project to compile so that I can try to contribute. But I'm not familiar with the 
workings of

autogen and configure scripts and macros... If someone can help me get over this initial step, I'd really 
appreciate it.
