If you meant the splash screen, there's a "--no-splash" option in
current CVS, but I don't remember if it was in 0.6 or not. Also in
CVS, you can click on it, and it will go away. (But I know that's not
in 0.6.)

If you mean the warning dialog, yes, there's a way to disable it, but
it's intentionally not documented.
