Erm, depends on your definition of "Embrace and Extend" I suppose,  like you
said it's RFC-compliant
Just because other mailers are picky doesn't make our code "bad"

Since Evolution doesn't have to get mail from the local mail spool, it's
not guarenteed that it will be formatted with the expected "From " line.
Because of this, we must use "From -". I think you'll notice that a number
of other self-reliant mailers do this as well.

Case in point, just because other mailers are broken doesn't mean we are to
blame.

But, but, but ... if I understand how Evolution's mbox file-format works,
all mails are separated by a "From -" line, which is theorically legal
but in practice not accepted by commonly used mail user agents. Which
means you can easily import mbox from them, but not the reverse.

Wait a minute. Isn't this the (un)famous "Embrace and Extend" strategy ?
After all, imitating Microsoft is a good way to match Outlook  :o)
