About all i can suggest with no error messages is that the
tarball versions aren't uptodate enough. Some things like
bonobo need to be a cvs version, for example.
Michael
Hello All,
i got the latest source from cvs and everytime i run ./autogen.sh i get
a bunch of errors
in Makefile.in about some variables not being defined, i.e. GNOME_LIBUI not
defined,
and other gnome/gtk variables. I have compiled all of gnome from tarballs
except for ones
that i have no use for, gnome-pim, gnome-media, etc. etc. is there some
magic step i missed?
the sources were compiled on a bare SuSE 6.2 install with kernel 2.3.99pre5
and XFree86 3.9.18
all from tarballs, no rpms.
thanks,
Jason
